Along the way, she discovers that she has unique fighting abilities and becomes a formidable warrior, using her skills to protect those she cares about and uncover the truth about her past.

I will admit that I was a bit "iffy" about going into this movie considering I didn't love FREE GUY, but Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy really won me over with this sweet, and simple time travel tale that harkens from the Amblin Entertainment era.

The Walt Disney Company's 60th Animated Feature ENCANTO is an amazing film with a lot a great characters, songs, and interesting commentary on Generational Trauma. After 5 years of waiting, Matt Reeves's THE BATMAN is finally in cinemas. Robert Pattinson's portrayal of The Dark Knight is one that will have many people excited, and this new universe will keep Batman fans fed for years. In this episode of Podio Commentary, I break down the history of the film, how it split from the DCEU, and the plot itself. Spoilers are a plenty.

I finally got around to finishing the Podio Commentary episode on THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE for Netflix. While this movie got roasted by critics and fans, I found that the subtext started by Tobe Hooper nearly 50 years ago is still present, and the movie, while far from perfect is actually a fun-ish 81 minute ride.

Today I am very happy to bring you the story of MAN OF STEEL. Zack Snyder's launch of the DCEU became one of my favorite films in 2013, and it has remained one of my favorite films since its release. The subsequent BATMAN V SUPERMAN is a superior film, but this really paved the way for Zack Snyder's stellar vision of Superman. 

WandaVision officially kicks off Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, and for the past few weeks it has solidified itself as the world's most popular television show. The story of Wanda grieving over the death of Vision, and S.W.O.R.D. trying to figure out if the world is in danger has been an amazing one to behold. This is the story of Marvel's riskiest venture yet!

The Blair Witch Project is a movie that has influenced the kind of filmmaker I've wanted to be like no other film. The found footage genre is what it is because of the works of Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. For a 22 year old movie, it still holds up in regards to its legacy, and this is a story I'm very happy to share with you.

In 2001, Tim Burton's reboot/reimagining of the PLANET OF THE APES hit theaters, and divided audiences. And 20 years later the controversial ending still does the same. But just how did this movie get made? How did it take 20th Century Fox 13 years to put this on the big screen, and how did it go through directors like Peter Jackson, Chris Columbus, Oliver Stone, James Cameron...and even Steven Spielberg? This is that story.

Here is the story of THE MANDALORIAN.
